Ilana Bergman, psy.d.

Ilana Bergman is a postdoctoral fellow at Long Island Behavioral Psychology. She completed her Psy.D. at Pace University and her APA-accredited internship at Nassau University Medical Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, parents, and adults across both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is fluent in Spanish and provides services to Spanish-speaking families. Dr. Bergman is dedicated to partnering with parents, children, and teens to address a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety and obsessive–compulsive symptoms, trauma-related stress, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Dr. Bergman’s research focuses on family systems, and her dissertation examined how parenting behaviors were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. She follows an integrative approach grounded in evidence-based practices andadapts her work to meet the unique needs of each individual.
