Kelly mecozzi, psy.d.

Kelly Mecozzi is a postdoctoral fellow at Long Island Behavioral Psychology. She completed her Psy.D. at the University of Hartford and her APA-accredited internship at WellSpan Health, Philhaven, where she worked with children, adolescents, and their parents to address behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, and trauma related concerns. Dr. Mecozzi values working with children, adolescents, and their families on a variety of concerns, especially anxiety related concerns, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and specific phobias. She primarily used a cognitive-behavioral approach and integrates other modalities as needed, to ensure each individual receives the treatment that bests suits their needs.
