Ava Weschler

Ava Weshler is a master’s-level counseling intern at Long Island Behavioral Psychology. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami and completed her practicum training at the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program (CAMAT). At CAMAT, Ava worked with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, OCD, and mood-related concerns, using evidence-based approaches including CBT and exposure-based interventions. 

Ava takes a collaborative, individualized, and values-aligned approach to therapy, empowering children and teens to work toward their goals.
